The team at Better tasked me with creating a completely new brand style that aligned with Yavolo's new brand strategy and playful language. The new logo features a shopping basket with a hidden smile, perfectly capturing the positive experience Yavolo offers to both buyers and sellers. We complemented this with a bold, playful brand style and a warm colour palette that inspires trust and confidence in new customers.

Unpacking the brand visuals
The new logo symbol may look like a stylised shopping basket at first glance, but it carries multiple layers of meaning. Within the basket is a smiling face, bringing joy to the brand, while the negative space subtly forms two people shaking hands to commucate the idea of sellers working in harmony, a key part of Yavolo’s business concept.
This basket symbol was then extended into the key brand visuals, called ‘bundle-visuals’. Created by an in-house 3D designer at Better, these depict items dropping into the smiling branded basket, echoing the shape of the logo. The visuals represent different shopping categories and illustrate the joy of adding items to a basket.
