The project set out to build a distinctive digital hub that mirrors Mr. Fantasy's eccentric persona, covering both the design and custom development of the marketing site and extending the new visual language into a customised Shopify theme. Drawing inspiration from 70s posters and advertising, the site leans on bold typography, rich colour and playful layouts, with characterful animations and micro-interactions designed to deepen fan engagement. The result is an immersive, fan-focused world that captures the energy of his viral moments and gives Mr. Fantasy a new digital stage to grow his music. The project was led by the creative direction of Brandon Staniford, who created key visual assets for the site.

Designed for the TikTok generation
Mr. Fantasy has built a global fanbase of millions largely through viral TikTok moments and short-form content. The site needed to hold the attention of swipe-happy audience used to fast, highly visual experiences, so the design leans into bold typography, vivid colour and playful interactions. By focusing on fast performance, mobile-first layouts and and bite-sized content blocks, the site is tuned to hold the attention of an audience that moves quickly.



The results
The marketing site integrates a privacy-focused analytics setup to track user journeys and measure the effectiveness of key links. The primary goal was to drive visitors to the store, with clear calls-to-action throughout the experience and a mailing list playfully named “The Friends Club”. Within the first 24 hours, the site attracted over 7,000 unique visitors, with around 90% clicking through to the Mr. Fantasy Store and almost 15% clicking to join The Friends Club mailing list.
