Privacy.
In compliance with UK data and privacy laws (“GDPR”) and in an effort to be more transparent, I have assembled the following information about the data I collect on this website, how I handle it and what I do to help maintain your privacy.
What data I collect
From this website, I collect the name, company, email address, and message of anyone who contacts me via the contact page.
I do not store cookies on your machine, so I cannot identify or track your behaviour on this site. You can verify this using tools like Cookiemetrix or Cookieserve.
I do not use invasive analytics. I use Google Search Console only to measure traffic from Google Search to this site.
Lawful basis for processing
I collect and process your personal data on the basis of your consent and my legitimate interests. When you submit your details through the contact form, you are providing clear consent for me to use your information to respond to your enquiry. Additionally, I may retain your data in order to maintain records of our communications, to improve my services, or to comply with legal obligations
What I do with data
I use Resend to process and store all form submissions and contact details. Resend is GDPR-compliant and follows strict security standards to keep your data safe.
I do not sell or rent your personal data. I only share it with trusted service providers (like Resend) when necessary to operate this website.
If your data is transferred outside the UK or EU (for example, to Resend’s servers in the US), it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or other legal mechanisms.
How I keep your data safe
Your data is encrypted and protected by Resend’s security measures. Only I (and trusted providers when necessary) have access to your information.
I use ProtonPass to randomly generate and store a 20-character password for my accounts. I also use two-factor authentication (2FA) to keep these accounts as safe as possible from hacks.
While I take the security of your personal data extremely seriously, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. I strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, but I cannot guarantee its absolute security, particularly from third-party data breaches.
How long I keep your data
I keep your data only as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and for my records. If you ask me to delete your data, I will do so unless I am required to retain it by law.
Your rights
Under data protection law, you have several important rights regarding your personal data. You can ask to see the information I hold about you, request that I correct or update your data, or ask me to delete your data—also known as the “right to be forgotten.” You may ask me to restrict how I use your data, object to my processing of it, or request a copy of your data in a portable format. Where I rely on your consent to process your information, you can withdraw that consent at any time. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact me using the details provided above.
Complaints
If you have concerns about how I handle your data or would like me to destroy it, please contact me as soon as possible.
If you are not satisfied with how I handle your data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
